The Blessed Mother came to the small village of Fatima in May and October of 1917, where she appeared a total of 6 times to 3 children. At the time, Fatima was one of the few villages that had remained faithful to the Catholic Church. Our Lady carried with her a message, promising peace to believers if her requests were obeyed.
