St. Theresa is known by being cured from an illness at the age of 8 by a Blessed Mother statue. Fifteen years after her miraculous recovery, she became a Carmelite nun. Unfortunately, she later died at age 24 of tuberculosis. It is said that when St. Theresa answers your prayers, the scent of roses will follow.
