"Tassilo" Chalice & Dish Paten

The "Tassilo" Chalice by Artistic Silver is a lovely reproduction of the original piece that goes by the same name.  The original Tassilo design was commissioned in the eighth century for use at the wedding of Duke Tassilo of Bavaria to the daughter of the Lombardian King.  It is best-known for its unique shape which includes a cup that is larger and wider than the base. The Chalice also includes a gold-plated filigree design and several gemstone accents.

The "Tassilo" Chalice is available at Matthew F. Sheehan.  It is made by skilled European craftsmen and features a design that fully covers the base of the cup, the foot, the stem and the node.  This Chalice is available in three finishes:  Brass Two-Tone, Inner Cup Sterling Silver or in all Sterling Silver.
