STORY ABOUT HER
He was born on March 28, 1515 in Avila, Spain. He died of tuberculosis on October 4, 1582 in Spain. The church celebrates its day every year on September 15th. A mystical writer, she was the first doctor of the church, she was a woman far ahead of her time and founded her order as almost impossible for the time, founded many convents and renovated the church. She wrote many books and was friends with many saints and her most important book is “Las Moradas”.
PRAYER
The most important poem is his poetry, which is a prayer “Nothing disturbs you, nothing scares you, everything passes, God does not change, patience reaches everything, whoever has God, lacks nothing. God alone is sufficient”.
