Albs for Women

The alb is a type of liturgical vestment that is worn in a variety of Christian denominations. It consists of a simple white garment that drapes over the body and extends to the ankles. it is usually girdled with a cincture. The long tunic style garment is worn by ministers, clerics and laypersons. It is usually worn over the cassock and under the stole, dalmatic or chasuble. Matthew F.
